What’s a Virtual Race?

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on the track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. This is great option for families, novice and seasoned runners!

 

Do I get to run with my pro in person?

No, this run will be done on your own and you have a chance to beat their 5k time so you can compete with him as well as try to raise money for their charity. Follow your player on Twitter and Instagram! 

 

Registration/Donations

Registration for each player race is $45 per person. 

Please encourage your friends and family to join in the fun – a virtual event participant can live anywhere! The person with the most referrals per team will earn a 5 minute Zoom call with their player! Find out more HERE

Your registration will help benefit your player’s charity.  You can also make additional donations during the registration process.

When you complete your run/walk, take a selfie photo and post it on your social media.  Please tag the #Hermes (on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and use the hashtag #RUNWITHTHEPRO.

With your support of this virtual event, you help the charities of your favorite football player from cities across the country. Thank you for your generous support!

 

When does each event begin?

Your Virtual Race begins any time after July 1st.

 

Can I mail in an entry form?

All registration must be done online.

 

Is it safe to register online with my credit card?

Yes, Hermes Sports & Events has partnered with RunSignUp, who is a leader in online registration. It is safe and secure. There is a small processing fee when registering online. If you are not comfortable registering online, you may send your registration with a check through the mail.

 

If I am registering with a family member, can I fill out one registration form?

No, we require individual entry forms for each participant to make sure that we have all the information we need for that participant. We will not accept two or more names on one form.

 

What do I get with this event?

Do I need to submit results to get a medal?

No, all participants will get a medal included with their packet!

 

When will my packet ship?

Packet shipping will begin on August 1.

For any participant mailing addresses outside of the continental U.S. additional postage fees will apply. Please contact apetrovic@hermescleveland.com to make arrangements.

 

Will you send me a confirmation?

All registered participants will receive confirmation via the e-mail address given during registration.

 

Results

You are able to submit your 5K time through RunSignUp  – CLICK HERE to post your result. The deadline to submit results is September 14th. 

Results must be approved by race director before being posted*

Results will be posted directly on the site. Locate the race and click the ‘Results’ link or on the home page, go to the Race Results. You may need to refresh your browser to view.

 

Refunds

Sorry, but all entries are non-refundable. Once we’ve received and processed your entry, you will not receive a refund, you may not give or sell your race number to other people, and entry fees are not transferable to any other race.
